Born in Cebu, Philippines, on August 15, 1952, Master Choa Kok Sui is the originator of modern Pranic Healing. Since ancient times, sages and mystics have been practicing the ideologies similar to Pranic Healing. However, it was through Master Choa Kok Sui’s tireless research, culminating in the book Miracles of Pranic Healing, that the practice of Pranic Healing was modernized and spread worldwide.
Trained as a chemical engineer, Master Choa Kok Sui used various scientific methods to validate the existence of Pranic Healing. He experimented on his own body to make sure that the techniques to be presented were safe. It was through his rigorous validation and experimentation that led Pranic Healing to garner consistent and predictable results, allowing it to become a viable healing practice.
Besides Pranic Healing, Master Choa Kok Sui also developed the Arhatic Yoga system, an advanced meditation system that combines powerful yoga and meditation practices that aim to accelerate enlightenment. Master Choa designed the system for everyone, so that each person can easily practice Arhatic Yoga while still being able to pursue a normal life. He experimented on his own body to make sure that the techniques to be presented were safe.
He traveled for 200 and sometimes even 250 days a year teaching so that the powerful teachings could improve the life of future students and disciples, even during periods when his body was ill. There are several stories of Master's dedication and focus. Master never rested. He pushed forward. He persevered. Master worked tirelessly in order to develop Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga at the expense of his family life and health. All these sacrifices were made for his students. Master just asked for three things in return:
Following his passing on 19 March 2007, Master Choa Kok Sui left Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga as his lasting legacies to the world. With hundreds of healing centers in 150 countries on six continents, his dream of manifesting Heaven on Earth within 150 years could become a reality!
"To have Heaven on Earth"
Master Choa Kok Sui's vision is to produce one Pranic Healer for every family. One Arhatic yogi for every one thousand people out of the present population of about seven billion people. The target is to produce seven million Arhatic yogis.
Out of every ten Arhatic yogis one senior Arhatic yogi will be produced. A total of seven hundred thousand senior Arhatic yogis will be produced. Out of every one hundred senior Arhatic yogis the target is to produce one baby Arhat or seven thousand baby Arhats. Out of every hundred baby Arhats the target is to produce one fully matured Arhat or a great Arhat. A total of seventy fully mature Arhats or great Arhats.
Out of the seventy great Arhats hopefully three Holy Masters or three Great Ones will be produced. If this can be done within one hundred and fifty years time the world will change, be transformed and progress beyond recognition. If this objective can be accomplished, we can have "Heaven on Earth."
